It’s Yelper Party time- our biggest event of the year! This year, Yelp goes under the big top! Don’t worry, there will be no clowns. Come party it up circus-style with businesses across the CLT area. Nibbles, sips, activities, and entertainment will be provided courtesy of our amazing sponsors listed below.

IF YOU PLAN TO RSVP, YOU MUST MEET THESE CONDITIONS:
1) You have your REAL name on your profile, no initials or screen names (Sorry, Foodie A.) We will be checking ids – please make sure you have your real name on your Yelp account.
2) You are over the age of 21 (once again, IDs will be checked)
3) RSVP does not guarantee entry. You will receive either a “You’re In” or “You’re On the Wailist” email. Priority will be given to those with a REAL photo of YOURSELF on your profile (as the default/main photo!) Priority will also go to Yelpers with Charlotte or somewhere in the Charlotte area as their city. Sorry NJ and Kansas friends, we’ve got nothing but love for you, but locals get first dibs.

IMPORTANT:
Please check email settings at yelp.com/profile to make sure your email is correct and you are allowing email from Yelp. You will not receive your confirmation or party pass if your email settings are incorrect. Also, be sure to add charlottenc@yelp.com to your contacts, to ensure delivery to your inbox (Yelp emails sometimes land in spam or promotions folders).

To update your e-mail settings via mobile:
1. Open your Yelp app
2. Click “More” on the bottom
3. Scroll down to “Settings”
4. Click on “Email Notifications”
5. Make sure the first option “Receive emails from Yelp” is turned on!

Via desktop:
1. Click your nice photo on the top right corner of the page
2. Click “Account Settings” from the drop down list
3. Click on “Email/Notifications”
4. It may prompt you to log in again just to confirm you’re you
5. Change/Edit your email address if necessary
6. Feel free to check/uncheck any of the options
7. In order to receive event emails, make sure the very first box “Receive emails from Yelp” is checked
8. Hit the save button
