CORE: CHILDREN OF RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES is dedicated to serving food and beverage service employees with children, who are faced with a health crisis or a natural disaster and are in need of support and in need of our help.  As the world faces the biggest pandemic in our lifetime, we want to continue to honor our mission by providing support to food and beverage service employees, with children, who have been medically diagnosed with COVID-19. Documentation is required. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, you can apply here.

Please note, you are also eligible for support if you are a food and beverage employee with children, and a family member who resides in the same home is diagnosed with COVID-19 and a doctor requires you to quarantine. Medical documentation and proof of residence will be required. You can apply here.

• Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
• Avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, nose or mouth and continue and maintain general personal hygiene best practices.
• Make a plan and prepare your staff following Ready.gov’s preparedness tips.  Complete your own Preparedness Checklist and make this information available to your staff on the employee posting board, through email, employee posting board and through communication portals.
• Clean and sanitize hard surfaces and frequently-touched objects.
• Practice Social Distancing and Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.

• With your help we can provide help to food and beverage service workers with children from generous donations from supporters like you.  Consider donating to CORE  by making a donation or by becoming a CORE member supporting the food and beverage industry. While we are stepping up to support food and beverage workers diagnosed with COVID-19, we continue to provide support to families with children due to illness, injury, family death and a natural disaster.
• Please continue to support food and beverage service establishments.  Many restaurant operations offer delivery, on-line or call ahead ordering, curbside or restaurant pick up and drive through. You can also purchase on-line gift cards to send to your family and friends or to use in the future.
