CORE

Resource Center

CORE: CHILDREN OF RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES is dedicated to serving food and beverage service employees with children, who are faced with life-altering circumstances and in need of our help.  As the world faces the biggest pandemic in our lifetime, we want to continue to honor our mission by providing support to food and beverage service employees, with children, who have been medically diagnosed with COVID-19. Documentation is required. If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, you can apply here.

Please note, you are also eligible for support if you are a food and beverage employee with children, and a family member who resides in the same home is diagnosed with COVID-19 and a doctor requires you to quarantine. Medical documentation and proof of residence will be required. You can apply here.

Food and beverage service employees who are experiencing financial hardship, due to restaurant closings or loss of business may be eligible for government assistance.  New programs are being announced daily and we are working hard to keep up with the fast paced and changing landscape.  Please utilize this Resource Center to find information and additional resources available to you and your family.

We encourage everyone to stay safe and follow the guidelines provided by the National Restaurant Association, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and your local and state health organizations.

We Need Your Help

  • With your help we can provide help to food and beverage service workers with children from generous donations from supporters like you.  Consider donating to CORE  by making a one-time donation or by becoming a CORE member supporting the food and beverage industry. While we are stepping up to support food and beverage workers diagnosed with COVID-19, we continue to provide support to families with children due to illness, injury, family death and a natural disaster.
  • Please continue to support food and beverage service establishments.  Many restaurant operations offer delivery, on-line or call ahead ordering, curbside or restaurant pick up and drive through. You can also purchase on-line gift cards to send to your family and friends or to use in the future.

We encourage everyone to stay safe and follow the guidelines provided by the National Restaurant Association, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and your local and state health organizations.
